Of wes bengal.
Total area of habra is controlling by Habra police station.Now Mr. Mainak Bandhopadhya is inspector of Habra police station.After join he controlled habra,remove social problems and victims with successfully.

According to 2011 census population of habra is 1,47,221 of which male are 74592 and female are 74592 respectively and 0-6 years child population is 11,211.

Unity in diversity is a great achivement of habra.various religions live with together but hinduism is majority religion in habra city with 98.32%,islam is second with approx 1.44%,christinity 0.05%,janism 0.01%,sikhism 0.03% and buddhism 0.03%.

RAILWAY SYESTEM
It’s 45km from sealdha station and 25km from barasat on the sealdha-bongaon branch line of eastern railway.It’s a part of kolkata suburban railway syestem.Habra,bongaon local connects this city to sealdha station in kolkata.

Habra is situated on the jessore road between kolkata and the bangladesh at petrapole.Habra station road is directly connected on NH35.Habra-Naihati road connects this city to naihati.Habra is also connected to NH34 by habra-Naihati road connected this city to krishnagar,kalyani,kolkata and other towns,cities.SBSTC,CTS and also private buses are also avaliable here as transport communication.
